On a transfer? I had to do my Face ID on the new phone. One of the things I’m gonna hate on this phone is Face ID because when I’m out I usually have on a mask. I used the Apple Watch 4 for Apple Pay just to not be bothered.

I don’t know what’s going on but Car Play seems to be pretty glitchy for me. Freezes and black screens all the time.

Seems like BMW didn't get into Carplay until 2017

You should be able to get a dongle or something to retrofit it

If your head unit doesn't have that built into it you need an aftermarket one to add it. The dongles are typically for making a wired carplay unit wireless.


Not too complex to add it if you're used to messing around in a car with wires and harnesses. If not it's better to pay somebody to do it.

I'd imagine you'd have to use the eSIM for one number and a physical SIM for the other.

Do you have a SIM card? If so you pop it out and put it in the new phone. In settings about there’s a digital SIM listed and you’ll have to give that to one of your providers. I’m not sure they do all that but they probably can.

I put mine in a UAG Monarch. That’s been my go to case for years. I hate the naked phone. Need something with better grip than glass. Also I need something that can take a good fall. Tempered glass screen protector on the front.
