this is getting aggravating. iphone 12's are easily available near me, but the pro is not in stock at all.....
So far I’m liking this phone better than my Note20 Ultra 5G. For the foreseeable future my SIM will remain in the iPhone and the Note will be a small bedside tablet.

not sure where u are, but I JUST found one locally for pickup. I HAVE to buy unlocked thru apple because I use visible, and they definitely don't have any in-person pickup.
I prefer buying the unlocked anyway for better resell value. I think Apple only sells unlocked phones with the different SIMs.
Why don’t you want the regular 12?
The Pro isn't really that much of an upgrade from the regular given that the regular has an OLED screen now. The extra camera lens and the extra RAM are the main features. The screen gets a little brighter. For most people the Pro isn't worth paying extra.

a few reasons. first off, unlocked 12 cost $30 more for no reason. 2nd, I would need at least 128 GB. so that puts me at a total of $879.
so for the extra $120, I decided to get the pro cuz when I sell it, it will have more value when I trade or sell it.
I noticed storage doesn't change the value, which is why I didn't get 256GB this time for when I sell. they only care about the model and if it works.
