No, I have series 5 WiFi only. My iPad is WiFi only as well. I don't need Cellular for either. My phone plan has unlimited hotspot.

pro has higher resale value and also comes with more storage standard. that's enough for me.
also, I traded in my XR in in the store for $250 cash, plus had $140 apple cash and a $20 gift card. phone only cost me $640 out of pocket and I'm gonna pay the entire phone off in like a week.
