apple music is literally just another version of spotify and tidal just another concept to keep up with competition. In short: just another app that fan boys, white people that care to buy music on iTunes will use while the rest of the world is still using torrents :russ:

You're forgetting there are so many Android devices from so many OEMs, folks got options.

:mjlol: at the concept of paying $500 for a phone with a 4-inch screen in 2015.
I'm not forgetting that. I'm saying all those cheap android phones are trash, especially anything you think you can buy for $50.

but most ppl don't care about options. and I don't care about third world countries and their shytty chinese android phones running ancient android software.

Most ppl are buying the big phones anyway. and when you are talking about competing with iphones nobody is gonna talk about those shytty android phones like no one is gonna compare a netbook to a macbook

don't compare a Benz to a civic

sure a civic you can mod all to hell and its cheaper to buy and you can have a lot of fun with it. But the Benz is still the better car. higher quality, better experience, and better resale value.

If's it's about making money, why isn't the iTunes store on Android.
I don't how understand how you DON'T see this as only making money
iTunes didn't need to be on android because you can put itunes on a windows or mac computer anyway.

But Appl Music is a subscription service. Monthly income. There is a lot of money to be made for them by grabbing that android share.

It looks like a great service, and by selling it on android it might sway those appl haters to realize that apple products are really solid.

who knows
there are many reasons for this move. and its all about money, and building market share (which means more $$)

They can't do that without Google taking a cut of the in-app sales.
the app is gonna be free with a subscription
apple taking $8 and google getting $2 is still a win for Apple....and a win for google.

I don't even think the majority of the world uses torrents. I use it for music, but my daughter doesn't use torrents nor does she know how. hell, she don't even know how to put music on her iphone. I think she listens to most of her music via youtube.

I can't believe ppl are still using torrents. All this technology out here and ppl are still clueless...then you see threads like "I just got a copyright letter from my ISP"...wonder why

torrents are still the easiest/fastest way to get most of my media which consist of music/tv shows/movies.

Na...I beg to differ. It's the unsafest way for one. Anything I'm downloading is going at 3/MB per sec...torrents are not getting those speeds on popular files
