I can't believe how deeply integrated this thing is. I got the cheapest one because I didn't wanna pay extra for touchID and having an Apple Watch I don't even need touchID anyway I can just approve logins from my watch. I get those text codes and the thing pulls them from my phone. Windows isn't anything like this.

It really has me wanting a real desktop mac. I'm gonna likely replace my older Windows PC with one.

I heard that these computers are selling like hotcakes to the point where apple cannot keep up with demand and they are in jeopardy of running out of the A18 CPU's.

It's because they're binned CPUs. Failures for iPhones so repurposed for this. Eventually they'll have to start using regular versions.

I copped the M5 pro, traded in my M3 pro. They charge you $20 to get a 90w charger. Otherwise you get the weaker one. Unless you spec out a higher config. They say it needs more power to run the higher specs. But my M3 came with one so I just kept it and use it anyway

I'm still going strong with my M1 pro macbook pro.

glad I future proofed in when I got it in 2021. I still got 1TB HDD and 32GB of RAM, which is more than macbooks give you out the box right now.

I wanted to upgrade the RAM but man I didn’t want to wait for it to ship. The only Apple Store near me is hours away and I happened to be going that way so it was now or never.

I sold my m4 max studio because I was using my MacBook Air and iPad way more now I regret that decision and want a studio to run openclaw

It’s not like I do a whole lot with it so I don’t notice any difference. But I was happy about the trade in value I got so that made me go for it.

Kind of want to upgrade to the 14 inch M5 Pro from my 16 inch M2 Pro.
This 16 inch screen is unwieldy and the laptop itself is really big.
