Plenty of devices still use USB micro. Obviously I have an iPhone given my comments on the lightning connector, so I’m not talking about phones. Every other device I use uses USB micro. Two sets of Bluetooth headphones bought last year (one pods, one corded around the neck) both use USB micro. Bose Bluetooth speaker bought in 2019...uses Bluetooth micro (just like my older jll Bluetooth speakers). My external battery bought in either 2018 or 2019 uses USB micro. My niece’s external battery, bought in 2020 uses USB micro. I’m pretty sure kindle e readers still use USB micro.
USB-C does not have this problem

Nope, cuz it served a purpose: attempting to get you to do better, the next time you enter a thread late and are tempted to respond to a post at the beginning of a discussion just to raise points that had already been raised and discussed.
Maybe you choose to heed it, or maybe you’ll choose to be obstinate for the sake of being obstinate, but you won’t be ignorant of the matter.
