By selling the headphones they'll have a direct to consumer advertising too. You'll probably be able to buy the headphones with a subscription. The horizontal integration they have is crazy. They sell you the device that you play music on (phone and laptop), the device you use to listen (headphones), and now the streaming service. Next all they need is the music (record label), and venue... I doubt they'll take it that far.Nah.. They just took the Beats Music and integrated it with iTunes Radio... Basically re-branded it into Apple Music
Plus they still selling the Headphones too
I have the streaming services on my phone and CPU and you know what I use? My own playlist I make for myself based on the thousand upon thousand of songs I stole via torrents years ago. I have Music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and on up. I really don't care for no ones streaming service. I rarely even buy music anymore. Simply because I'm content with the library I have now and some of the new music is retreads music from years gone by and in this day and age music is like fast food.
