20 bucks vs 9 bucks + larger library.

Common sense doesn't have a color.
The hate is real, adding 10 bucks to Tidal and removing 0.99 from Apples price

Every service is 9.99, Spotify has student discount (:ahh:), Tidal is about to get theirs and Apple will most likely follow. Additionally, Tidal has a Hifi option, which no one except the biggest audio geeks use. I don't know anyone who has tidal though. I don't know if anyone I know will leave spotify, spotify+uber is too nice :blessed:

hate? nah. But Tidal doesn't give the avg consumer a reason to jump shift while Apple Music can make a ton jump purely from an iOS user only standpoint. If I was an android user I would not see much reason to switch from Spotify or Google Music to Apple or Tidal though.

It was obviously hate exaggerating Tidal's price and underestimating Apple's. The same shyt the hating media did.

I don't think it's so much about getting people to switch but getting the new users to choose theirs.

Everyone knows that's it's gonna be hard to box with the richest guys in the room though. Tidal is going to have to be extremely creative to survive in that market. If they manage to get their Hifi shyt down to 12 bucks they might find a niche market in the future.

nah still aint gonna help them stay a float as only a niche market would care compared to the other companies who are trying to get everyone to hop on board. I see Apple getting a lot of revenue from folks that forget to cancel during the 3 month trails, as that is a long time compared to 30 days and I see a lot of folks forgetting the just not canceling.

You do know that stores survive without being Walmart right?
The niche market might be big enough in the future, streaming will keep on growing. Look at Netflix their revenue is close to 6 billion. Everything is turning cloud based. Apple are moving all their computers with SSD, basically not giving people the chance to have large music libraries unless they buy portable HDs. Next generation will grow up in a cloud based society and if the streaming industry grows accordingly, niche markets will exist. It's up to small players to grab it and not let the Apple monopolize the game.
