Explain. I'm actually curious. I get surprised when people switch from the Galaxy or Note to Apple.

Iono about now but when I switched simple shyt like texting was fukkin atrocious on android, I had to download a third party app called handcent to keep shyt like group chats from breaking up and getting individual responses to a group chat. This was 2015, after being android exclusively for 7 years

All that shyt I dissed iPhone users for made me realize what a lame I was cuz none of that widget, customizing default font to windings and whatever the fukk other flabby “customizations” shyt mattered when the user experience was trash.
I haven’t had an issue with any iPhone I’ve owned since 2015 :wow:

I switched in 2013 from a Galaxy Nexus to an iPhone 5S. I was being left out of group messages with my friends and roommates because if I was included, it would switch the conversation to MMS and with MMS you get severe compression with photos and video sharing and you can't message when you don't have a signal. I'm also in the US, so trying to get someone to switch to WhatsApp ain't happening. It wasn't even a point in me asking my friends. So when the iPhone 5S came out I went and copped that.

It was definitely a lifestyle change. I didn't have root access to my iPhone like I did on Android so I relied on Google Drive and other cloud services a lot more than I did on Android, but the positives outweighed the negatives. I was included in group chats, the social media apps were waaaaaay better on iOS, and my phone was much smoother than with any Android or WebOS phone I've ever owned. I honestly can't go back to Android anymore until they get their app quality on parity and RCS becomes standard in the US.

Getting an iPhone in 2019? When there's better and cheaper alternatives out here?:mjlol:

My sis got herself a $800 iPhone and can barely make monthly payments on it. She wanted it just because it looks cool and to keep up with her friends.:francis:

I got me an Android with 256gb that i only paid $30 for:mjgrin:.

I'll be damn if I pay almost 1k for a fukking phone just for them to upgrade months later and slow down your current iphone's performance

I only browse social media out of boredom so I don't really need the social stuff. But is Apple really that much smoother?

I run a cell phone store and this is what I tell most of my customers who can’t decide between Android/Apple.

Android is indeed a better phone from a customization aspect and specs. I have no beef with that.

For us folks, which is the great majority, who enjoy simplicity and don’t care about that extra shyt then Apple is the way to go. Hands down.

This couldn't be further from true

The avg grandma with an iPhone racking up 8-9gbs of photos when her grandchildren come visit for the weekend

An IG thot with 17gb of photos is feasible as hell

You think these HD ass pics taking up 300kb???
:why:Is each photo 30mb+ or something?

I can say with 100% certainty that apps on iOS are better.

As far as the operating system itself. I can't really say. I've played with the Note 10 and it's smooth right now. But will it be smooth in 2 years? I don't know. I can say my iPhone X is smoother than the Galaxy S8 which came out in the same year and is still getting updates from it's manufacturer. Something the S8 is not getting.

We do understand that if you take 10,000 pictures how much space it uses..

1Gb itself can hold up to 595 photos at 5mgs per photo.

So you mean to tell me 256gb isn't enough for photos/videos?

And why? Back up your phone, clean your pictures out, do basic phone maintenance if you need space. If you just taking tons of selfies and boomerang videos and don't know how to back up your pictures whether on a desktop or on the cloud then iPhone might not be for you.
4K pictures and videos take up way more space. As I stated you don’t realize how many pictures and media people have on their phone. It’s needed.

And nikka....I'm not paying for those over priced phones . And as far as "playing fields" go nikka let's play. What we really doing on these phones my nikka ?? What makes a phones price point go up to 1500 dollars and can you justify it fukk boy ? Because it sounds like you can justify paying 1500 for a phone.

And what can your 1500 dollar phone do that my 250 dollar phone cant ?

I need answers or else you just another fukk nikka on the coli spewing shyt.
If you don’t want to pay that fine. But don’t act like top of the line Samsung phones aren’t just as expensive because they are.
