That's what I said... Then if you read the reviews, 99% of these shyts break soon as you put a few gigs on it.. A REAL 512 gb is $80... 1TB about $150... So considering the size and durability of the needed one in an iphone, $200 don't seem astronomical at allUSB 2.0 for 1TB of data

ExactlyI have hundreds of songs and pics on my 64GB Max XS, with plenty of space remaining. Honesyly, unless you’re shooting video, 256GB is overkill.
I don’t think none of these dudes even understand how large 256gb is. Like yall nikkas better be in the multimedia or music field to require that much space
(But even if they were, they would be intelligent enough to backup data on externals or clouds and access what is needed through there. Not keep shyt just stored on a device).

I see people post their home screen and got like 600 emails and 300 messages... And they ain't clearing shyt. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit lets be real... Most people don't use 90% of what the phone can actually do. They talk, text, use about 10 apps tops, and facetime. Most of it is taking pics and video. Just ask 10 random people... Bet they got video on that bytch from 2-3 years ago.. People won't even update their phone cause "I don't wanna lose shyt" Don't even know about the cloud backup... Don't even know you can do a complete copy to your itunes... Don't even have itunes anymore

I hate streaming so I download movies and Tv series on my phone to watch on the go and when I'm bored at work. HD movies takes up a ton of space but i can't speak for anyhone else and that's why I only use phones with micro sd support
Yeah pretty much it, the reason why these larger storage phones cost more is that your internal storage works faster than SD card. People expecting to pay cheap price for SD, but end up with slow working card they can't watch their movies on.
Something like samsung evo micro sd card which has read speed at 100 mb/s and write speed at 90 mb/s will cost you about 100$ for 512 gb. This is the type of speed that HDD's would work on.
As far as usb flash drives I won't even waste my time with those old 2.0. 3.1 is where it's good, and with external HDD's or SSD's getting smaller might as well just buy one and carry with yourself if needed.

I also have over 300 photos and videos on my phone and it hasn’t used that much space... hundreds of music albums, etc.
Again, what the fukk are you nikkas doing thats so special to have to justify 256gbs and complain about not having it? I wasn’t even talking about just backing shyt up on iphone but you should know how to back shyt up in general if your phone is almost “full”...
And most people phones are not almost full. Thats why people hold on to iphones for years, they don’t need all the shyt they’re justifying in here and on top of that, i doubt they will buy a new phone just because they are somehow running out of space. They’ll probably start learning how to delete bullshyt like a normal person would.
Like is said, 1gb can hold over 500 pictures... people in here are saying 256gb is necessary for a 1k phone and it’s not because most likely you will never get to the point where you NEED that much space unless you’re just adding useless shyt on your phone without clearing data
Why use an SD reader when u can just have the SD card already in your phone? A phone could break too or have issues. If u fill a card up u can get another card. If u fill up your phone u gonna get another phone? Nah u export to cloud.Theres multiple cheap cloud storage backups if it's that serious. Amazon alone got everything covered.
Whether u pay less or not for a phone, you're still paying for Apple music. If u don't download for offline use, then streaming shouldn't take up much space
4 tb external hard drive is like $80. 8 tb is like $130. Ur very own personal cloud storage for cheap.
TBH I don't take a lot of pics and vids. I dont need constant access to all my pics and vids like that. For my video and pic edit projects they're all on laptop. I barely use that phone storage much.
I'm saying there's way more cheaper options but Apple has cornered the market of all in one no thinking products. Yes the camera is great but everything else is over priced to tech people that know the true cost of these things
