you don't think?
I doubt it the real power of phones is the processing ability but you can’t get the pixel saturation and count to match a dslr. I used to work for Nikon so I’m familiar with the challenges but the mass market doesn’t care anyway

interesting :jbhmm:

is the sensor size limiting pixel density or does the lens need to be longer? like the lenses on pro cameras have length, would a phone camera need lens internals for improved quality?

im not a camera expert, honest question

edit: could there one day be an apple made lens that attaches to the phone to simulate a dslr? a lot of innovation seems be in peripherals anyway

Sensor needs to be bigger and yes a lense for depth phones are using multiple cameras to work around it but I just don’t think a phone will ever have dslr capability and still look like s phone you can carry. Mirrorless csmeras is the future though

This was supposed to be the year Apple would show where the billions they slashed from hardware went, they showed it. Your earphones, phone, tablet, watch, car, and soon credit card are connected and they all work together in some way that's helpful. There's a period tracker in your watch lol. Now they're jumping into the streaming warz this fall, you gotta think what is Google doing while all this is happening.

Best way to describe it, feels like we're closer to having chips in our skin from Apple while Google's playing in 2014. All these phones cost about the same now, what else am I getting besides a new update every year.

Apple playin chess........ we'll see if it works, but from your phone, to your computers, to your tablets, now your tv, your credit card.......the ecosystem is even bigger now, yet they focus on privacy as well. It feels like they're so far ahead of others in overall big picture.

Then it'll be the car.......

What i really want is app specific screen orientation locking or to be able to disable auto rotation at 270 degrees.

IPad OS is the most litty shyt they announced. shyt literally is gonna turn my IPad Pro into a primary device.

Apple really doin it big, they seein the big picture. All the press they gettin about WWDC, the Mac Pro, positive or negative, it's still great marketing from Apple.

Apple saw that services was the next step. Got the ecosystem of iphones, now ipads that can be a laptop replacement for many, the macbook pros/air for conventional consumers, Macs and the Mac Pro for the professional. Now you got Homekit, which can be a security system for you now, Apple music, the Homepod, the Airpods, and now a credit card that you can use. And healthwise the apple watch is there, working directly with medical professionals through Healthkit. All of it tying into the ecosystem, seamless transition. Then again the car will be soon too.....

And still an emphasis on privacy, with ios 13 bringing the Apple single sign in to various websites, being able to give randomized IDs/email addresses, buillt in two factor authentication. Add it all up with Apple's post sales support, and it's pretty crazy how everything clicks together.

Yea man. Aside from that overpriced Mac Pro(Especially that $1000 stand). shyt is pretty dope. I was legitimately surprised to see the literally answer ALL questions IPad users and non users have been asking them when it comes to the device. Now it all up to developers to make more full desktop apps for it. Adobe is doing full Photoshop this year for it. Which is amazing. I saw a vid Dave Lee posted that basically said it’s still missing X Code which is kinda ridiculous and nitpicky imo. Here’s the video.

They gotta nitpick cuz in the world of tablets iPads are basically it.

Think about it, with Apple you can integrate basically most facets of your life. Work, music, now TV, health monitoring/fitness, home security, credit card/finances. Pretty soon the car too....
