What field are u in brehPlan early, plan often. I've had to pivot from my original goal a few times now.
Entry level software developer. As much as I like it, I don't want to be a developer forever so I'm putting plans into action to move out of that role before too long. What field are u in brehI’m looking at my upward mobility options and I hate the office environment.

It's not something I really want or need to do. My salary is fine, I'm above the median household income by a decent margin and it still has a lot of room for growth. In 2 years I'll have enough experience in the right areas to damn near double what I'm making now. I'm at a good spot, I've just recognized some of the long term limitations at the company I work for so I'm working on avoiding them now.Why can't you do freelancing on the side?
That's what I do
You could potentially double your salary if you are willing to give up your free time and weekends for like the next 3 years is nothing in the long run in terms of retirement as you'd shave off working a couple years so you can retire early.
Work hard now and never stay complacent for more than 2-5 years and eventually you'll retire before everyone else
