I think it was @Rawster who said that although I believe she said it was Lo's girl/bm, both things can be right at the same time. She may have sent a letter earlier on when no one knew he was the rat,
then later on when it becomes clear Lo sends that letter. After he gets booked his girl remembering the letter she sent months ago and not knowing at the time Lo sent that letter may have thought
it was her letter that Lo got arrested for. She tells everyone and in the absence of information that story spreads before the charges are revealed.
