I'm not young. I am a square, but I knew nikkas in the game, including my best friend who died in it. People who lived nice, as well as cats who stayed low and dressed bummy to stay off the cops' radar. I was simply answering the hypothetical.

There's a 99000 dollar house in Mobile. That's the "big city". You could probably get a house for half that outside the city. That's 250k to live off of, and figure out how to make money. Very possible. I personally knew people who were more than smart enough to do that. If you can manage a drug empire (outside of the 80s crack era where 16 year olds were hundred thousandaires) to where you have 300k to play with, you should know enough about business to figure something out. He'll, in Alabama, you could probably go legit, get a 9-5 and live good but not great off your earnings and cash reserves. Somewhere in the country, you could probably live 10-15 years off 300k if you had to.
this crib is less than 100k in Winston-Salem..

this is a college town so you could easily start up a little restaurant.. or, even i know some folks who bought a bar & liquor license, on one of the main strips- for dirt cheap..

you could easily buy that crib.. or, one cheaper.. and, live off 300k here, for a very long time.. these dudes tripping..

I thought that I was the one that was a square but apparently, a great majority of guys on this site are. I don't understand what's so hard to understand, they also seem to be stuck on Alabama... It can be anywhere in the south where the cost of living is low and crime rates are relatively low.
sometimes, i think these cats are joking.. but alot of these folks are clueless as hell.. :dahell:

who the fukk couldnt live off 300k for years..? most rich folks i know, been driving the same modest car/truck for years.. hell.. i know a dude down here who owns multiple restaurants, still driving a old Pathfinder.. and, is just smart about spending his money..

theres plenty of cats who made good dough selling drugs.. flipped that into something legit and living a modest lifestyle.. everybody selling drugs, aint tryin to be Meech & these other cats folks idolize..

Yup, I have a collection of old Don divas /feds magazines one of my favorite stories was this big hustler telling a story how he got into the game (I don't remember exactly who but he was from NYC) anyway he shared a story about how he got put on by this old head and one time he went to this old heads place on Chicago, an apartment in the burbs said the old head told him he owned both apartment on his floor, he lived in one kept money in the other, he said wall to wall, every closet and room was full of money in the one apartment. When the interviewer asked him who the guy was / if his name was poppin dude said you he had no famous name and you wouldn't know the dude from a dam librarian if you saw him in the streets :yeshrug:

People don't understand that drug trafficking is a lot like gambling, and is an addiction in itself. Yes, some, if they reach a point, can retire, and make the money work for them, live comfortably, get a job, but the urge, the compulsion to throw the dice one more time, one more drop, one more year, one more load, it's just like Blackjack, or high stakes poker, or roulette. Once you taste that fast money, the antithesis of most "normal" jobs, the rush. "Allure" gives you a good perspective on this. Were it not for rap, Jay wasn't going to just stop and retire, live of the interest.

you could easily move to NC with 300k.. buy a nice crib.. and, start a business.. :comeon:

i know people who dont/never sold drugs.. and, have done it with much less..
do you think these street cats have any type of skills to do anything like that?

A lot of them can barely read...let alone live a normal life and take care of themselves.

You know the neighborhood bums? Cats addicted to drugs? etc...
A lot of them dudes were ex street cats that were getting it.

In and out of jail a few times...and they never learn how to live a straight life...the drinking and drugs eventually catch up and the rest is history.

ppl talking about take the money and move to a hick town and live a quiet life. Even squares want to live in the big city and enjoy the amenities, what makes you think a street nikka wants to live in some slow ass town with nothing to do?

I’ll never understand why A nikka would do a crime, record it on an iphone or android, go to IG, select the crime video from the camera roll, type a long ass braggadocious caption describing the crime in the video in great detail, tag all of your co-conspirators in the video then press “upload” :gucci:

Then have the nerve to get caught and blame “snitches” :dead:

Its all for Clout and women. Getting money is just the first step for them. Modesty and financial discipline is hard to practice when all of those things are in place, and especially when other lost people cheer you on for dysfunctional shyt.
