The mayor quoted in the article is saying what a politician is expected to say. He voted and campaigned for Harris. And he is publicly pleading for support from Dem.s nationally.
Republicans arent thinking, or caring about him, so his plead goes to the Dems.

The Dearborn voters, MENA and not, who protested against Biden/Harris stance on the Gaza conflict by voting for Trump, 3rd party, or abstained outsmarted themselves.

better strategy would have been to vote in kamala, then vote one/some of their own people into the house or senate. or even local leadership, police chief, etc.
