A team that had its first season together made it all the way to the finals and lose vs a team full of vets is not a disappointment no matter how you spin it
Than the fact they came back and now have won BACK to BACK titles proves all they needed was time to figure it out
The lakers were a team filled with vets and had already won titles with that core and ADDED two more hall of fames only to become the must hyped up dissapointment in sports history
You can shyt on that mavs team all you want but they were a great team lead by two hall of famers that had been together for years if you don't want to give them any respect that's on you
Of course I respect the Mavs. That's my squad... I just think it's hilarious that all anybody wants to discuss about the 2011 Finals is how The Heat/LeBron let it slip away. Nobody ever gives Dallas any credit for winning, they just talk about the Heat losing. Dirk didn't earn the MVP and his ring, LeBron gifted it to him, according to 99% of the world.
Until it's more convenient for your hollow Laker-shytting arguments to say that it was the grizzled veteran Mavericks team that won it and the Heat "needed more time."

I like how you say the Heat "needed more time" to mesh, but the Lakers, who brought in a new PG, C, and a new coach less than 10 games into the season get no such benefit.
You do realize that the Heat carried over 3 starters (Chalmers, Wade, Haslem) just like the Lakers did (Kobe, Pau, World Peace) right?
