Breh, no disrespect;

We survived The Middle Passage, American Slavery, Jim Crow & the Crack Era.

We're doin' pretty good, comparatively. It's bad, for us. But, it's a farce that's it's the worst it's been.

I'm surprised we have all this info. and brehs, on thecoli, talk like this is the worst time, of all time, to be black in America.

We still have ways to go, but, give a breh his history and see what we've been through and achieved, then, tell him "This ain't nuthin'."

Not saying we haven't survived to but to say that the Black people in America still aren't feeling the effects is not true. Of course we have kept it moving but there are some who need help with the day to day. That's the thing we are not a monolith. We are individuals and some of us need help. Also some would disagree with you, and believe that this is a bad time to be Black in America and we didn't survive the Crack era, we're still feeling the effects.

I'm sorry; show me any time period, in American history and I'll say that today is >>

By no means am I suggesting that we have it "easy"

Let's not get caught at extremes (worst and easy)

but, thecoli never fails to have a bunch of black posters not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel

And all I'm sayin' is; we've been through worst. Study the past and see what got us here.

My Dad is so angry, because with all the things we've made it through, we still don't have that pride and belief in ourselves. My father grew up in the 70's Down South.

thats why black men need to own shyt....businesses..property...etc....

only time u see bm in a office is on a job ad

This is some real shyt. A few years ago, I applied to this temp agency that always had Ads featuring pictures of grinning black people happily working in an office. went into the office and saw nothing but white recruiters. I passed the skills assessment with flying colors. Top percentile in everything - computers, writing, etc.

Cac shook my hand and said he'd get right to work to find me a temp assignment. No word from them. I'd call and always get the answering machine. Even went in there and some other cac bytch comes upto me and hands me a list of other temp agencies in case they can't find me a job.

You're wrong. We are not individuals. We are a community. Whites love to point out the handful of Blacks who are doing OK, so they can say, "see how successful he is? How come you can't work as hard?" Black people as a whole are in terrible shape. Nobody in our community has any real wealth. almost all of us are struggling check to check, and it is only going to get worse.

So, no, we are not just individuals. We are a community and it's time we start acting like one instead of a bunch of #newblacks acting like they made it.

Education starts in our community, not in a classroom where cac and c00n teachers don't even teach our children about the history of our struggle since slavery. Whites are educated in their communities to be lawyers, doctors, engineers and so on. Because that is what they see. White girls are educated in their community to think they are the most beautiful because that is what the media pushes. Black children are educated in their community to be drug dealers, pimps, thots, and failures. Because that is what the white system has reduced Black people to. We need to begin educating our children to love themselves and believe in their ability to succeed and contribute to our people in a positive and productive fashion.

How was Romania?
I got there during the worst cold snap to hit Europe in like, 200 years.

Eastern Europe was basically frozen solid for 3 months.
When it warmed up, it wasn't too bad.
But the majority of the people there were friendly and curious of American culture, and get super touchy feely when they drink.

And some of the females there were :noah::ahh::shaq:

No PAWGin, though.:whoa:

Unfortunately, I was in a small-ish town where the majority of the women there were in their late teens. The girls my age were in the major cities; Bucharest, Iaş, Tigre Müres...

I wasn't on my R. Kelly shyt, but some dudes were. :mjpls:

Overall, a pleasant experience.

Aside from the individual vs community standpoint, we are in total agreement.
