Perfect summationOf course not.
But they do both function as corporate, neoliberal electoral bodies. In that wat they are "the same."
The DNC is center-right and the GOP is far-right.
There are no legitimately well-recognized Left parties in the US.

No and "both sides" is a mantra designed to create/increase/justify voter apathy.
They’re both the same when it comes to black people, particularly black people who live in dire situations. Different approaches, same results.
Not really. I think he is speaking more about the current candidates than the actual parties. In that case it may be more accurate. but I wouldn't describe Republicans as far right in general and especially wouldn't describe democrats as center right. Someone Like Mccain was center right.Obama was center left. Someone like Bernie is Far Left. Trump far right. The party tends to follow the lead of whoever is in office. However as leader you have to govern all the people of the country, not just your supporters, so it's hard to be a good leader if you only cater to one demographic. one extreme direction. The ideal presidential leader would shrug off party affiliation when they take office and take an unbiased approach to governing the nation. Obviously no one does that, so imo best next thing is to be as close to center as possible.Perfect summation
