U could throw Denzel & Tom Hanks in that tier along with possibly Brad Pitt (bc of status, not talent)

Yes a modest hit.
It made close to 500mil, so the studio made 250mil from box office. Movie cost 90mil and P&A 100mil, they got 140 mil box office profit. Thats a modest hit.

Netflix means nothing because it cant be cerified. That said bright wasnt a release to theater so it cant be compared to box office gross.

Aladdin was solid, my virw is ot was solid based on being an established IP like the majority of the disney remakes, outaide of dumbo.

Yes suicide squad under performed and was considered a failure by the atudio. Dont understand how you can even argue against that.

Will smith and every other solo star from the 90s xant generate huge hits by their presence like they used to, that isnt a slight against him its just the new reality. Outside of established and loved IPs, will smoth isnt guarantees money.

Suicide Squad got a sequel and spawned a spin-off in Birds of Prey. That doesn't happen to movies that disappoint at the box office.

The sequel which recast everyone except the white chick who was shoe horned in because harley quinn sells to girls. That had a hbomax release though, so while it was better recieved it was on a lower budget and disnt smash anything box office wise.
