Your on to something here. I think its just the fact "actor" ranks higher than comedian maybe? But then again I think if Will smacked Eddie Murphy,security would have at least rushed in to protect Eddie. I didnt see Chris get security,no 6'5 giant puttingba hand on Wills shoulder to keep him from doing that again. No commercial break,just left him out there for dead

I think Chappelle wouldve got the same treatment though. I think Eddie might really be the only comedian that supercedes the comedian tag.

Will has largely been irdelevent since after earth. That flop tarnished him greatly.

Tom Cruise was done after knight and day, they both coast and rely on IPs now.

Tom has M:I , but Will has nothing, the good thing for him is he has a solid production company. His company's big hit is with netflix andnthat is cobra kai

were all successful films banking 100mill to a Billion

Surprisingly his most acclaimed films since After Earth Concussion and King Richards are the ones that flopped box wise.

Will is worldwide megastar status, Chris Rock a rank lower. Will has one of the most famous sitcoms ever, musical hits and various blockbusters. He's on another echelon.

Only people on Will's level is probably Beyonce, Tom Cruise, and Kanye. I wouldn't even put Denzel on that mega star level.

Will Smith at his peak was massive. From like I am Legend to Hancock he was the biggest star on the planet. No one can sustain that level of fame for long, so I wouldn't hold that against him. Everyone slows down eventually.

Lol, none of those movies were big hits, 2 under performed spies in disguise and suicide squad and the rest were small films. BB3 was the only modest hit.

Bright was straight to netflix so it makes no sense for it to even be posted here.

King richard was dual release on hbomax so ots box office being small means nothing, but it was a small film as well.
