I been doing this for some time now. No longer shop at Target (was never a big Walmart shopper). Let my Amazon subscription die (I can watch the shows elsewhere). Basically do most of my food shopping at Costco and Aldi or shop at the local (Black owned when possible) businesses.

This isn't necessarily true. But one day isn't enough. It has to be for a sustained period of time but trust me even a few percentage points in lost sales will have boardrooms scrambling.

McDonalds profits went down like 2.18% one year and it forced them to have meetings and revamp the menu.
