Tebow is known as one of the greatest college players of all time. You may thnk that doesn't warrant fame but to a large segment of the population it does.
This. Danica can actually drive and most of the experts and her peers think so too. NFL players and experts alike not named Skip all agree that Tebow sucks yet he stills gets glorified as a proven winner because of what he did before the entering the NFL. Never before has there been a player most can agree is at best a backup yet has superstar fame.
This question doesn't really take into account that the public celebrates Tebow's values more than just his football abilities and that is where alot of his fame comes from.
You may not care but there are a lot of people that do, thats my point.
