What has that got to do with how Indians perceive blacks,in the present. Well seems like you need a history lesson, India is the only country in the world that still has bonded servitude (form off slavery) especially at the granite quarries. I went to Bangalore 3 years ago, with a couple off friends, let's just say that the N word is alive and thriving there.

Because black people aren't the only ones who can be victims of racism. The world is not divided into Africans and non-Africans. Maybe it is for you, but I'm Indian and it's no cacs out here trying to be friends or be inclusive towards me and vice versa for me on their part. So what if there's racism in India? That's besides the point. I have never ever denied that Indian people can be racist. I will however obviously deny any suggestion that whites are somehow more tolerant than Indians. That is totally false.

I think it's you who needs a history lesson if you think Indians are more racist than cacs :dead: One race brutally colonised the whole world, plundered the lands of their wealth and natural resources, enslaved the men and raped the women, spread sickness and introduced poisonous addictive substances like alcohol to natives, committed genocides, separated biracial children from their parents, etc. The other race stayed put in their homeland, smoking mad kush, content to spread their culture and ideas peacefully. Guess which ones were cacs and which were Indians.

Remind me again how many Indians worked at Auschwitz, how many Indians worked in Leopold's Congo, how many Indians were slaveholders in the Americas, how many Indians lynched black people during Jim Crow, how many foreign countries were conquered and subjugated by Indians - zero, on every single count. And somehow we are still more racist than cacs? :camby: :mjpls:

Sudan/New Zealand.
Arabs are white and some Hispanics are white.

You probably wouldn't know if a Lebanese told you he was from Spain
:umad:

Not all Arabs are "white" passing. I would say most are, but many are not, and i am not speaking about the ones in "Africa", but the ones in the Arabian Peninsula. Some come white while others are very brown(carmel complexion)

I'm aware. I've known Arabs ranging from Sudanese to Yemenis to Lebanese.

Don't count us in the Arab category please. I am strictly talking about the indigenous Arabs in the Arabian Peninsula and they do range in skin colors like everyone else.

As far as the topic let the Indians speak for themselves.

Your opinion on not counting the Sudanese as Arab is both interesting and not the majority opinion that I've encountered. But, for your sake - I shall deem you Arabized Nubians. How's that?

Once again, what has history got to do, with the here and now? From my viewpoint, I've experienced far more racism against my person from Indian people than I have from whites, whites are the most racist from a historical viewpoint, but the here and now I've experienced it far more from your fellow country men. That's my reasoning right ther.

Probably because i have a Copt mom, however you will be surprised how people really feel about this issue, if you are around Sudanese circles.

Really intersting subject my two cents on the subject: for the people before recorded Sudanese history, it's proven that they were Nobian you can see them in the drawings and sculptures in the pyramids and other historical evidence Do I consider myself as an Arab? Nope, I consider myself more African than anything else Why do I speak Arabic? well, Sudan was occupied by Arabs in the past, whom worked on erasing the African identity for so long. so yeah, long comment i know XD

Not everyone in agreement, but you always have voices of dissent, and that is all i have to say.
