Once again, what has history got to do, with the here and now? From my viewpoint, I've experienced far more racism against my person from Indian people than I have from whites, whites are the most racist from a historical viewpoint, but the here and now I've experienced it far more from your fellow country men. That's still racist though to judge most racial mediums of complexion in how they oragnized it, based on their own values.
The fact that they're against interracial marriage, pretty much says it all.

I forget, so are some regions of India mostly racist, and others aren't? Regardless, the caste system relies on some form of discrimination at the end of the day, racial or not.

Racism and discrimination in India is deeply rooted in their religion and goes back thousands of years. Basically the lighter skin Indians are forbidden to touch darker skin southern Indian. They are not even allowed to make eye contact.

The cast system is probably the most cruel and brutal form of discrimination that I have ever come across. It's beyond sickening.

That doesn't exactly make sense, otherwise North India would be an all high-caste society and South India would be an all low-caste society. I don't know my history of that time period well, but were they really mixing thousands of miles between the north and south like that thousands of years ago?

I did see that they did a genetic study and most of the caste differences in India only started about 1500-2000 years ago, meaning that there was plenty of inter-caste marriage before then that kept them from being genetically distinct. Other than your generalities being too strong, though, you're right that the caste discrimination is really cruel and brutal, especially in its worst forms. (Eye contact and "don't let your shadow touch them" are the extremes. The more common midpoint for the really strong castests is bodily contact or eating from the same utensils. But in modern India it's pretty common now for it to only become an issue when it comes to marriage, and in a lot of cities nowadays not even then.)

Andamanese are descendants of people who left Africa 10's of thousands of years ago. They look closely related to blacks but are furthest from us genetically.
