the wildest part for me is that the ganges is suppose to be sacred in the hindu religion and they just do all kinds of unspeakable shyt to it.

It's strange how once considered a prestige exotic subtropical paradise is ruined with pollution and over-population.

There is also very high scale places too. Luxurious palaces and hotels the whole you dig.
Some Indians (and Arabs/Persians) have long money that stretches further than a sultan's chamber.

Just depends where in the subcontinent you go.

Don't go into poor places if you don't have the know how's to navigate around.
