that's reflex, instinct, whatever you wanna call it. I mean, even dead snakes with their heads cut off still have a bite reflex

insects are ruled by the most primitive drives to survive and procreate. they may run when you try and kill them but that doesn't mean they are afraid of death

:merchant:
Nah.

Their lives are about 7 days long. In that time they gotta be born, go thru puberty, traverse a world full of predators and bug zappers and, ultimately, have babies.

They ain't got time to be reflective n shyt.

when I hit em with the Raid.

But yeah, most insects have a mechanical/fixed nature. They don't know what death is.

Time is relative to size and gravitational pull.

So since they are lets say a 50th our size. Time is moving at that rate to them.

I dunno the exact math or nothing... but 5 days could be 50 years to a bug.

Since they are so small they can sense being noticed, I think.

Also, I try to give them verbal warning before I have to smash on them. In part, that came from being afraid of bugs in the past. Had to gather courage.

Lol:mjlol: I am saying all creatures to a degree have a sense of preservation, you are sounding really stupid my man. Do you think flies fukk for the simple purpose of getting pleasure out of it?
What I'm saying is that flies (and humans) procreate because flies (and humans) procreate. Its just an element of life. Nothing more. Nothing less. It just is. It has no actual purpose because life has no actual purpose...other than the ones we ascribe to it out of our own prejudices and desires. THATS what I'm saying.

I don't know what philosophical mubo jumbo you are trying to apply to things here but science disagrees with you.

I hate bugs breh.

If its in reference to the first part of my post. It may be a coincidence, but as soon as i notice a bug and have the intent to get at it, it scatters as if it knows whats up.

Don't bees die when they sting? Why do they sting?
Because they are reacting to a stimulus. This is the extent of an insects "self awareness." If they were actually self aware they would try their best to not sting the intended victim to try and save their own life so they could go on and procreate.
