did you read this all it said was nice are able to make decisions affecting them in the future that doesn't mean mice are self conscious

that's just a click bate article

nothing about recognizing their mortality or their existence
Yes but it does mean they're self aware. Since we don't speak mouse we can't actually say now can we.

No they do not have consciousness of the self / not self aware. They live and die by the natural set of instincts they have. A fly born today will try and eat shyt and fukk the same as a fly born next year. That's why there aren't any depressed / trans-bumblebee houseflies out there

This is high quality posting right here.

I wonder if there are self hating flies.

*After the Fly community protests one of their own being crushed by a human*
"But what about fly on fly crime?"

I bugged out the other day after I watched a bee that I scooped out of the pool with a fly swatter and placed on a chair sit there and and literally dry himself off , he was rubbing the water out his eyes with his hands and and squeezing water out his wings. At that moment I looked at him as more than a bee , I looked at him as a somewhat conscious creature.

Just beautiful.:mjcry:

about 30 minutes later a bee was buzzing around me and came at me multiple times :beli:, instinctually I swatted his ass to the ground, dead. It was probably the same bee and he gave no fukks about the gentle care I took to scoop him out the first time,:mjcry:
