Steph has a great support team at home too. Dude isn't out on the streets, comes from a good family, etc....he really could be a milestone in the character of the league.
yea who the fuk guards anybody 6 feet behind the 3 point lineSteph literally challenges everything you're taught about playing team defense. It's insane
All you have to do is suffocate him, give him no space once he passes half court and trap him on screens?
Sounds easy enough![]()
Lebron, Durant, Westbrook, Blake, CP3, Anthony Davis, Kyrie, Kawhi Leonard, Chris Bosh, and the list goes on. The narrative that Steph is some aberration is wrong, most of the superstars in the NBA are good character guys who aren't wannabe street dudes.Steph has a great support team at home too. If teams full court press, they just have someone else bring the ball up the court and put Curry off-ball. He's just as hard to defend without the ball as he is with it.Jordan is not a perimeter guy. The other 77 plus games he's not asked to help out of a sharpshooter like steph. Dudes need to start full court pressing and trapping him as soon as he passes half court. But the other guys are shooters/passes too. Then there chasing steph everywhere and fighting through staggered double screens
kinda hard to press the warriors when everybody on the team can handle the ball except for festusIf teams full court press, they just have someone else bring the ball up the court and put Curry off-ball. He's just as hard to defend without the ball as he is with it.

You have to hedge out hard and recover, that's why Draymond is so important to that team and what they do, he's usually Stephs outlet on traps/hedges. What happens if you decide to trap him is that Draymond is at the the 3 line with options and no center in the paint to protect the rim, he can either take the three or he'll put the ball on the floor and go to the rim, Barnes/Thompson are usually in the corners waiting and when their man has to rotate over to Draymond going to the rim like @Big Boss says it's over.
The only way to defend him is build a team that can switch everything on defense, that way nobody is left on an island.
Cavs the only hope
