So the 3 series is legit? And yea that's why I want it. Because I want to teach myself how to fix it do I won't have to rely on a mechanic.

Yeah, I know friends that have both. The E30 is pretty simple. Just get it inspected by a BMW shop before you buy. They'll know what normally goes wrong on those cars.

I say skip both and get a Nissan. Why do you want an old Bimmer/Benz in the first place? At best get one as a second car... I would not recommend either for a daily driver for someone whose not a mechanic

Imma ride with this! As a former owner of a Benz and a current owner of an Infiniiti (Nissan, basically), the Infiniti is a better car for the mere fact that it is not in the shop every month, the part are comparably cheaper, I am not scared when the check engine light comes on nor are my oil changes over $100 every 6k miles. :snoop: You live and you learn I guess.

See I wouldve had a Maxima or I30 by now but every single one I see the body is banged in some way. But with the luxury joints the body is good. I need something with decent paint and no major dents. What about those late 80s Z? I'm sorry but all the late 80s sports cars look dope to me.

Man, I got a 2003 Black Infiniti I-35. bytch had 43k miles on when I bought in 2010 (68k now). Love that car. It was the year they stopped making this model so I don't see too much over-saturation like other cars and shyt on the road.

Here's a lookalike right chea

This first car search shyt has to be the most annoying thing ever. I wanted it to be like I buy a beater and fix it and give it TLC and have it forever and talk abotu how long ive had it and how much work I put into it. I want something to force me to put work into it so I can teach myself how to fix cars. Something I just wanna learn.

Nah Carollas are shyt. I was supposed to be pushing the Camry but my mom still hasnt fixed her convertible.
If you want to learn how to work on cars you dont start on something expensive + complicated

Corollas are cheap + simple... you gotta work your way up. Plus again you are gonna be depending on this whip to get you where you wanna go right? Why would you buy something that could leave you stranded AND be expensive to fix? The worst way to learn how to fix a car is with shyt that breaks at the worst possible time.

I'm just gonna buy a Maxima or an I30 because it looks good and it seems tobe reliable. I'm tired of having to wait when I got the cash. So I'm gonna wait for my boy to get better so we can look at something quick.
