Damn near everyone in my social circle/age are now starting to pop out kids or get married and I ain’t even 30. How are y’all older brehs getting to 35+ with NO wife or NO kids and NOT feeling out of place with your peers and not getting hit by the social expectation/pressure to have at least one unless you’re not outcasted socially?

I couldn’t imagine being that age without having at least one of the two when everyone around me my age has at least one

My social circle didn’t have children until I started dating my fiancé and those were her friends.

In terms social/expectation and pressure, people know better than to apply that to me.

I'll be 34 this year, from a small town and it's seen as very weird that I'm not married or have kids.

Most men my age at my job are married or have children.

Most the adults I know with kids ain't even staying true to "traditional values". It's all types of side babies and baby momma/daddy drama going on .

I just got engaged last year and I have a group of friends that give a little grief about kids. Mostly joking but they have 500 activities for those kids while I do what I want.
