Because political apathy exists, even among voting Blacks.

Not everyone is aware of political actions being taken against them.

I've never advocated for staying the course, and I don't think anyone else here is, either.

I think it's pretty clear conservatives are objectively worse. As I said before, there's a difference between having problems and being the problem.

As bad as Dems can be, they aren't trying to restrict voting rights for Blacks and eliminate social programs by using racist arguments. Those are pretty big offences, IMO.

You're mistaking my disagreement with you for a political strategy.
Primarily complaining about Rs and pointing out their corruption instead of primarily offering policy is what I mean by strategically 'staying the course'.
And if you can't beat Rs in any facet of government you are equally the problem and you have problems of your own as well which are probably the reasons you lose most of the time. As bad as the Rs are at least they are kicking the lefts butt, they win elections. I would like us to do that instead of just trying to always feel morally superior.

How'd Obama win then? A Black guy with a Muslim name.
My opinion is that for Trump to win he had to have the backing of the RNC. Now Trump on the campaign trail said A LOT of very stupid things. Things that if any one else said they would be death blows. But he just kept on saying them and the RNC kept backing him. They played to the stupid base and won.

When Obama ran he did not run into that problem. McCain and Romney were not shyt talkers. They ran conventional campaigns. So they were bound by the non written rules of running a Presidential campaign. Trump said fukk the rules. And after he bodied the whole field during the primaries and won the nomination.. For the most part the Republicans with very few exceptions came together and backed Trump and his foolishness. Or at least did not condemn it.

By doing that it was indeed a winning strategy.

So he succeeded where his predecessors failed? And revealed the RNC and electorate doesn't really care about PC or intellectual rhetoric?
Sounds smart to me. I dunno talking is just that to me. Results is where you show you are dumb or smart. :manny: The idea in politics is to win the office you are running for not sound the smartest.

I never said the RNC is dumb. They are not. They may be cold blooded, racist, tone deaf etc. but they are not dumb. I co signed that they committed to winning the stupid vote. Which is SMART. They dumbed down politics and pulled off a stunning upset win. To the winners go the spoils. ( Supreme Court Justices )

I'd just like to ask this.

What world do you live in where calling out a problem isn't a large part of the solution?

Notice I said "part". I agree it's not the solution in itself. But it's necessary.

Dems have problems with their political messaging. That's where we agree. I think if you're a Black voter, you know that almost intrinsically.

But that doesn't mean the GOP gets any kind of props. "At least they win elections" isn't good enough.

Imagine if a German in the 1930's said "as bad as the Nazis are, at least their kicking the Weimars' butts, they win elections".

:mindblown:

How many times does it need to be called out? Aren't there plenty of posters doing that already? I'm adding something else. lol

No. It says the people with their hands on the steering wheel have chosen to embrace ignorance and fear over knowledge and compassion.

Even this whole idea of “winning” in politics is backwards, but they’ve convinced millions that it’s a zero sum game. Us or them.
Doesn't it say America has chosen to do so?:jbhmm:
Arent elected officials a reflection of the citizenry itself?:jbhmm:
Isnt your beef really with 'the people' not republicans?:jbhmm:

Yeah I think we need to distinguish whether we're talking about voters or politicians.

Republican politicians aren't dumb at all, they're just unethical and don't mind if their actions are bad for society at large as long as it gets them elected.

Republican voters vary. Many are dumb, others aren't dumb but are just so racist and/or religious that it overrides rational self-interest, and most are somewhere in between.

Exactly on the middle part. These dudes went to Wharton and Harvard and shyt. Lol @ thinking they're dumb. Some people are evil, some people are sociopaths. It fukking happens everywhere.

My beef is with the people. And if a civil war was started to separate this country, that's a cause I would be down to fight for. Until then, I wait.

I disagree, and I been on here way longer than you and before that on sohh for a long ass time which birthed this site. Sorry, I don't post like you think I should. You gonna have to kick rocks on that my G.

I couldn't care less how long you've been here, BS is BS.

Besides, if you've been posting like this since SOHH, that's an indictment on you, not me. lol

I'm also not interested in how you post; you asked me how many times the GOP needs to be called out, and whether there are enough posters here calling out the GOP. I gave you my answer. lol
Not my issue if you didn't like my answer.:kanyebp:
