Are the '86 Celtics the Greatest team ever?

They're an all time great team but their rotations were somewhat limited. KC ran his starters into the ground and it caught up in '87 and '88.

DJ would've guarded Jordan. He may go off but if they funnel him the right way and stop him from passing then Bird/McHale/etc take care of the rest.

Walton was still one of the best centers on a per minute basis. Bird's peak was all time great, not many frontcourts match up all that well with McHale/Parish, and Ainge/Wedman/Sichting were good shooters. They match up well with anyone even if their rotation was effectively 9 guys.

That Celtics team went 40-1 at home and swept the Bulls in the 1st round. MJ averaged 43ppg

I run a legends association on 2k and I drop the current stars in as free agents. The 3rd season just started and these jokers dropped DJ and Ainge and picked up Kyrie and Jerry West. They beat me by 15 and I was playing well. It was just likecouldn't even be mad.

Yep and this showed when facing the Pistons and lakers.
