I run a legends association on 2k and I drop the current stars in as free agents. The 3rd season just started and these jokers dropped DJ and Ainge and picked up Kyrie and Jerry West. They beat me by 15 and I was playing well. It was just like:whoo:couldn't even be mad.
How do you do that???:feedme:

He wouldn't

McHale was taller, longer, and stronger plus had beast post moves.

Rodman couldn't handle him in the 80s
Rodman did handle him in the 80s. Don't you know who dethroned them dudes? Detroit and who was on that team? Rodman.. c'mon ya'll aint' thinking straight. Not saying he'd shut him down but he'd be an asset to the Bulls defensively and getting rebounds that Kevin wouldn't have got. Don't slight the worm fam. Dude was a monster on Defense.

A flabby and sick version

'86 Celtics were prime version

Also McHale averaged 30-plus on over 53% shooting in that 1988 series. So nah. You are slighting McHale if anything.

he avg'ed 27,7,3.. pretty good stats. Just looked it up. He was 30 in the series so not washed up.

Rodman didn't seem to be a factor in that series. However that Rodman on the bulls was a monster on the court. Against prime malone (who I feel is as good as Kevin) he did just enough. So i think he'd be able to be a force against Mchale as well. Pippen would give Bird problems. No one could stop MJ and he'd equally shut down who he was guarding. Kukoc and Harper would be a force as well. I think the Celtics bigs would do well against Bulls bigs but in the end Bulls win in 6.

You are overrating the talent on that Bulls team by a lot. Bird, McHale, Parrish, DJ are HOFers while Ainge was a really good 2 guard.

Then you have a strong bench as well with guy who were proven scorers elsewhere or put up good per 36 numbers like Walton.

I know Jordan is Godly but you need more.

The 72-10 bulls + Next season bulls lost like a total of 12 games over 2 seasons when Pippen, jordan,Kukoc and Rodman were all in the line up

Those Pistons teams used Mahorn, Laimbeer, Salley, and Edwards as their front court. All those dudes were big. Worm was a small forward. The Celtics after 86 were riddled with injuries and were never the same. Mchale played with the same injury Joel Embid has in 87 or 88 (can't remember).

Jordan's the goat and would get his 35-36 ppg, but that Bulls frontline ain't seeing the Celtics frontline. No Wennington, Caffey, Longly, Bison Dele or whoever else they had during those years is seeing C's bigs. And 6'7'' Rodman was a great defender, but he isn't checking 6'10'' albatross arms Mchale. During those years Mchale was shooting almost 60% from the field every year. Pippen would be a good matchup for Bird, but Larry was averaging 26 ppg 9 rebs 7 ast, shot 51% fg 41% 3pt and 92% ft, during the playoffs.

Healthy Walton is what made that team better than any other Celtics 80's team. That guy had maybe four healthy years in a twelve year career. And that happened to be one of them.

Bird was a maniac that year. fukkin dude was winning jump balls against Olajuwon for goodness sakes.

They still won

You could say the hawks were better than the Lakers that year Cuz they gave Boston a better fight than kobe and them :lolbron:

And the Lakers had key components injured.

The 08 Celtics werent that good. The 2009 would have been better if KG stayed healthy

It's in 14 so not sure if it still holds up but release all the current nba players you can into free agency then save a new roster file. With the new roster file create a new association and when you're setting it up turn on customize league. Then you can substitute classic teams for current teams. As soon as it starts it's a free for all to sign the stud free agents. It's pretty fun, but if you really want chaos follow all those steps and also set up a draft.
