The Heat proved that they aren’t bubble frauds and weren’t any kind of fake one seed.
-We were a Jimmy 3 away from ECF.
-We didn’t shrink against the elite Celtics defense and we were damn near equal to them.
-Jimmy was the best player on the floor for the majority of this series and showed he’s a number one.
Like there’s no way anyone could watch this abd think we didn’t deserve to be here or that we’re frauds. I was right lmao

This is a dumbass thread given the Heat crashed out in the 1st round last season. This squad is different to the Bubble one.

None of these players was in the Bubble for Miami.
Jimmy, Bam, Herro, Robinson are the only Bubble Heat players still on roster. They gave Robinson a 5yr 90 milly contract off the Bubble and he got his spot taken by undrafted Max Strus. Robinson was the 4th or 5th best player on the Bubble Heat (Jimmy, Bam, Dragic clearly their best 3). Benched in multiple playoff games, was playing 12 MPG in playoffs, benched in GAME 7 AT HOME with season on the line to make the finals when his team badly needed shooting and scoring too. Cac was lookin like prime JJ Redikk in the Bubble and now he may be out the league soon joinin Redikk as a podcaster full time

And Heat made the finals as a 5 seed in Bubble. A team 5-8 seed making Finals only has happened a handful of times in NBA history and one was the funky 99 lockout season. Other 2 times a team had prime Hakeem (only dropped in seeding due to his injury) and were reigning champs and the other time had prime Moses a top 20 player ever. Heat ain't really have to deal with HCA disadvantage in 2020 and they was 15-22 on the road that season. Those are facts. Bubble and everything about it was sus but the 2022 Heat are a legit team. Spo is a top 5 coach. Jimmy is a superstar.
