He's too inconsistent for the big money and he chucks WAY too often, I think the Knicks should clear for cap space.

He'll be back 100% guaranteed. Dolan is unusually close with him.

Prior to the post season, JR's stock was very high and he may have had a chance of going elsewhere to get paid, as of right now he may just have to settle for the knicks. I doubt anyone is going to be wining and dining him to come over to their team.

In poetic fashion, J.R singlehandedly destroyed his chance at an extremely big paid day and starting position.

Sad really, considering if he makes up his mind to have a versatile game by driving to the basket(as we all know he can) he'd be a primier player.

Unless the Knicks win the chip, we let him walk except for the same money. He's a bargain but also a liability that no one would want on their team.

Yeah, he was looking like somebody that could be a top 2 scorer on a team in a starting position. Probably 8-10 million a year on a 3 year deal.

He might end up in the Knicks price range if he doesn't pick it up

I just want him to start doing more than iso step back jump shots since he's struggling so much. Go into off the ball gameplay, running around screens, slashing and making passes. He can contribute without scoring big if he just stops sulking

Problem is that he's an idiot and he's stubborn. Bad combo. He thinks he could just shoot his way out of his slumps. Everything you just said makes perfect sense. This dude can't even see what's best for him, he'll just keep chuckin.

He can be top 15 in this league, 20 points a night if he was consistent. He has 10 point games and then 2 30 point games and then people forget everything.

Please explain how letting him go clears cap space. We can only pay him around 5 mil. We're also over the cap either way. Ill conceived thread.

Knicks are in cap hell either way,you cant win a title with him as your 2nd option but the Knicks dont have any other options theyre stuck as a clone of the late 2000's Nuggets teams with no flexbility to get any better
