Are there any modern games similar to Custom Robo?

It may be the nostalgia talking but I swear this was a top 3 title for me back on GameCube Not only was the overall customization pretty deep but I remember the combat being super fun and exciting

Are their any modern games out that can scratch that itch of a Sci-Fi Action RPG w/ deep customization and really great combat? I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't brought this IP back for the switch yet

Kinda in the same lane. There was also Daemon x Machina on Switch / PC as well.

I'm just now figuring that it had a bit of a competitive scene.

custom robo could possibly work if they brought it back with modern day graphics.

Wiki compares the game to Front Mission from Square Enix. Looks more turn based.
