environment and behavior is probably important
the person either has to think that they are entitled to or there are no tangible consequences for forcing something you want from someone or the person is coming from a place where doing that to someone just isn't that big of a deal

Certainly, I think a mans attitude plays a part in his decision to commit the crime as well. although, I'm not sure there's any place in the world where a man could have been raised where forcibly having sex with a woman isn't a big deal. Places such as Africa despite it being frequent, it's still considered tragic and horrible by many of us in America as well as its inhabitants.

no boys are necessarily taught that rape is good or doesn't matter but when rape comes up, no one really speaks at length about the psychological side to it, specifically for men
its just "rape is terrible, men who do it are [negative adjective], how can women stop this from happening"

What makes you believe that boys are taught rape is good? What culture preaches that kind of nonsense?

no one gets taught that rape is good breh :russ:
rape gets treated like a mysterious jumble of actions that happen when an irresponsible girl meets either a villain or a man who didn't know any better
