I’m Not sure how much he had in the bank with it being so sudden. Completely different situation to someone like Pac who was paranoid about being killed so he spent 25/8 in the lab.

I saw an interview where Nip said whether he’s in artist/creative mode or business mode, he likes to lock all the way in and commit..and in order to do that sometimes he has to turn the other side off.

He was doing a lot business around the time of his passing (Vector90, Marathon Clothing/Puma, real estate ventures)…so there might not be a whole lot in the music stash.

SINY!!
I’d be ok with properly mixed/mastered music he has already dropped.

He was more than an artist. A pillar of his community and a person who genuinely wanted to build others up. Dropping a half assed posthumous album would be disrespectful to his legacy.

Only way it MIGHT work, is if Lauren is sitting on already recorded/completed material and she oversees the entire project. Aside from that no thanks.

With all due respect it should’ve been dropped but since it didn’t and the store closed too it’s a bad look.

Just take the songs he was featured on since he died as the album

^If placed in the right hands I don’t think it’d be half assed.

Mike & Keys (who produced most of VL and the joint w/ Jay from the Black Messiah)…maybe throw in Hit Boy for a couple joints. I think they’d deliver a great album and give Nip that epic sound he always strived for.
