Daaam i do skip a good amount of songs on GKMC

Sherane, Compton and good kid were skips from the jump

Soon after

Swimming pools, art of peer pressure become skips


GKMC a great album cuz it has great songs but I believe it has alot of filler

and the songs that you skip are in my favorite songs of the last 2 years.The Art Of the peer pressure is literally the best song I have heard in YEARS

Other than people not liking Backseat Freestyle I think every song on the album makes sense and helps paint a picture, another scene from the movie. Sherane helps set the dark atmosphere for the rest of the album that doesn't stop till you get to Real.

The only knock I have on this album is I can't listen to one song and go somewhere else, Every time I have to play it start to finish.

Real might be one of my favourite songs on the album. Only song I skip and have always skipped is Backstreet Freestyle but I can imagine it's the best song you'll hear when you go to a Kendrick concert.

At first I only enjoyed 6 songs and now I love ALL OF THEM, probably the only album of the last 3 years that I can listen from the begining to the end

not a big fan of Maad city but I do believe that it's still a 5/5 track.

Yeah your right you can't put this shyt on shuffle, I don't even have it on my TDE playlist cause standing on their own I think some of the songs aren't as good as when you listen to it on the album.

I was saying once you get to Real on the tone of the album switches.

I listened to every song and every skit, the entire narrative flowed well coherently. While Real may be too popish for most people, it's a good song to end the narrative aspect of the album, the lyrics are dope, but the hook is throw off, maybe a different hook wouldn't have made that song so dismissible.

GKMC is one of those albums that at the first listen, you be like "what"

But a second listen draws you closer and closer into actually listening to the shyt.

The people who track skip on this albumsare the ADHD nikkas who expect trap beats or something.

one day soon i think i'm going to give this album another listen because i'm not getting the "classic" debate over this album. i'm really truly going to give this an album another shot with no bias because i listened to it 3 times when it first came out ( i bought the cd) and i still was like

people think i hate on kendrick, but the truth is, when kendrick started to buzz in late 2010 i wanted him to win. i had the same excitement for him that i had for j. cole when he was first buzzing. the honest truth is i just don't see what the big deal is. i remember being in the crib listening to it and my girl was telling me to turn it off. i told her no, let it play. but then i realized i was forcing myself to like something that i really wasn't feeling.
