As I remember the game 3 in that 2016 series was similar to the game 3 in the 2017 series. Cleveland was better almost the entire game but got dead legs late and GS stole it. The logic that since they were down 3-1 makes GS automatically superior is a misnomer without factoring that in.

I think GS was still slightly better due to Cavs role players just not hitting shyt on the road before JR’s game 7 display tho. They needed Mo Williams and Dahntay Jones to be difference makers ffs

They won 2016 game 3 by like 30 breh. The difference last year is that KD stepped up in that game while both Ky and Bron were average in the 4th quarter. Kyle Korver shoulda made that open 3 tho..that was a potential dagger.

You know I was thinking the same thing lowkey, you know how good of a story that would be for the league? The supposed worst Cavs team since Lebron came back beating these Warriors, but idk if they had Kyrie I'd feel more optimistic.
Yeah and in 20 years we will be seeing commercials saying "What if i told you the history rig job in league history involved a fixed nba finals series,...

I meant game 4 :snoop: I gotta stop fapping so much :to:
I remember that was the game where they played pretty admirably outside of LeBron who looked pretty tentative and kinda stat padded late. I think if he came out like he did in the last 3 games they could’ve easily went to GS 2-2 and not needed the Draymond suspension.

Dude has a point Breh.

If his point is that more people in general remember Jordan played baseball than the exact years Houston won titles then guess what, more people know Jordan played baseball than exactly how many titles Tim Duncan has. Does that mean the Spurs titles are "mystiqueless titles nobody will care about or respect"? It's a meaningless statement.

God Save the King.

I want to believe that the Cavs can do it, but the Warriors actually have the mental edge in this matchup as currently constructed, which IMO creates too much of a gap everything else being equal.

On the positive side, if this series is competitive at any point after Game 3 then we may get to witness LeBron go completely all out.
