GS would have owned them every year even without durant.
9x out of 10 GS wins a best of 7 against a fully healthy cavs team with kyrie. The 1 time the cavs won would be the 2016 season. Everything went their way once they went down 3-1
Totally agree.

I hate when dumb asses say the Warriors needed Durant to beat the Cavs. You'd think the Cavs won in 5 or some shyt.

The Thunder would've beaten the Cavs had they won the WCF - it took a full-strength Warriors team firing on all cylinders to come back in that series.
Not to mention a choke job by both KD & Russ. If those guys played to the best of their abilities they would've won

What about 15 when the cavs won 2 without Kyrie n Love? You think a healthy Cavs team would have been owned? It really doesn't matter though now cause KD is with GS and their the clear favorites

If that were true they wouldn't have ran to beg Durant to join them immediately after losing. Cavs had their number. Bron embarrassed their best player throughout the series. They were demoralized.

Hell, without Durant there was no guarantee they were even getting back to the Finals. OKC was pretty clearly the better team.

Do you not think things went really well for the Warriors in '15? They won 2 games without Love and Kyrie. The 1 game with Kyrie was game 1 and that went to OT.

I think the teams were evenly matched then. KD is the big Joker though, it's not even a contest now. Plus Kyrie is not on the Cavs so....
They were evenly match in the 2015 season but the 2016 NBA Finals proven that Cavs was not on the Warriors level. It took Draymond suspensions, Bogut and Iggy injuries to swing the Finals into a different direction. The Warriors didn't need Durant to win the finals. The addition of Durant was the move they need to stay ahead of the league.
