Have not played Bananza.

But way back when, i complained about the lack of challenge in Mario Odyssey.

Astro is easier than Odyssey, and has less physics/moves to mess around with.

It’s clear these games exist just to give a nostalgia rush to vets, and a fun non-frustrating experience to newcomers.

For me, that ain’t enough tho, these games can’t be GOTY cause so many other games offer something new and challenging.

I don’t get a GOTY vote tho….so

TBH platformers these days are mostly all easy & just meant to be accessible. Celeste & the indie games are the main ones giving you a challenge nowadays

Actually, DK Country returns & DK Country Tropical Freeze were notably more difficult than the rest of these modern platformers that people bring up.
