Are we still pretending the Wiggins trade wasn't a bad move?

Even if Wiggins couldn't help them win at that moment, Wiggins would've had Cleveland set for the future. LBJ could've won titles on relax mode, with his young boys duo of Kyrie and Wiggins doing the heavy lifting. He could've molded Wiggins into a premier player. It was a bad trade, considering Love's entitlement, dissatisfaction, and not knowing his role. And considering Love's unavailability due to his injury status last year. I don't see why it was a good trade. The NBA's getting smaller anyway. Could've had good small ball with Wiggins at the 3, LBJ at the four. Hell, could've experimented and molded Wiggins into versatile stretch four given he's a good defender. He's 6'8/6'9 200lbs and growing with a Luol Deng-type body. There's so many things Cleveland could've done with a Wiggins/Irving/James lineup that would've REALLY been a great matchup that would give a team like Golden State some fits. Shame.....

Already explained that too ...

Cavs played 8 man rotations during the finals...
James Jones being the 8th

So for all intensive purposes the 9th best player is the same as the 12th best player

So if Andrew Wiggins couldn't beat out Jones for playing time in the finals what difference does it make.. 0 minutes is 0 minutes.

Your arguing if 0 minutes is better as the 9th best player or is 0 minutes better as the 12th best player...
The levels of stupidity in this post. Explain him being the 5th/6th best player on the T'Wolves then?
Its pointless..and your an annoying troll for even bringing it up
:mindblown:

You're the one who brought it up you dumb fukk by posting this -

@Gil Scott-Heroin told me the Cavs woulda won the Championship had he been on the team last year.. So it must be true:manny:

Seriously how stupid are you?

I told him to imagine love was not there to help benefit you dumbass

We all know that if Love was on the team Wiggins wouldn't get any burn.

This whole discussion is predicates on who do you want coming off the bench in game one of the finals (jones or Wiggins)

@360Waves Answer the question as i posed it

Im not going to keep arguing with you.Gil . Whoever 360 waves says he'd play wins..

Still start Wiggins. James Jones is a 1-dimensional player. Wiggins is not. His ability to create his own shot alone means you pick him over Jones--outside of JR when he's feeling it no one besides Bron on this team can get a bucket on their own. An addition like Wiggins would be HUGE. And that's ignoring the fact that he's a better defender, and more athletic.
Start Wiggins. Bring Jones off the bench. Wiggins is long, athletic, and while he wasn't a spectacular defender this year he has great defensive potential. Wiggins also has the ability to create his own shot (he has an extremely refined post game at such a young age, a nice step back shot, can drive and finish well) which is something LeBron could desperately use in his current situation. That's a legitimate offensive option that could take some of the load and ball-dominance off LeBron.

Jones in spurts is excellent for floor spacing and 3 pointers though. But you don't start him. He can't create his own shot and isn't all that great defensively considering he'll largely be guarding 4s. He's a specialist and he knows what to do when his name is called but Cleveland can't afford to have him out there for long periods of times.

This is you admitting to taking the L, now you're bringing it back up by lying. You can't make this shyt up. :heh:

I can't wait for the playoffs to get here...Lat years playoff performance from Love before he got hurt vs Boston and Kyrie performance against Curry, gives me that hope that this team is just going to get it together and get to the finals firing on all cylinders.

@Gil Scott-Heroin And about him being the 5th or 6th player on the Wolves...

That same Wolves team won 40 games with Love the year before..

Replace Love with Wggins and they won 16..

I dont care what his stats were, he didnt contribute shyt as far as them being a winning basketball club... He wasn't starting because he beat out the competition and was a top 150 player in the league.. he started because he was the #1 pick and he's who the fans paid to see because of hype ..

Like I said I actually watch basketball.. not just the espn highlights like you:camby:

That still doesn't explain how Wiggins is the 5th/6th best player on the T'Wolves - that just explains Minnesota won more games when Love was there (never mind the face they had a different team). You're so full of shyt. You don't watch games.

Remember that the Cav without Love and Kyrie took 2 games . Kyrie was going well against Curry then that boy Delly put the clamps on him. The Cavs might put it all together again.

Kyrie is effective when he's got the ball he's not a good pg. delly actually played a role of just play d which worked for 2-3 games. Lebron running point was actually effective for them because he's a good facilitator. You don't get that with Irving there.

And love again plays no defense. And you're not out scoring the Warriors. 3pt>2.
