Are we sure Kerr is a great coach?

People are saying he is a great coach already....are we looking at all the facts here?


I mean he took over a very talented western conference playoff team.
He is responsible for inserting Draymond into the starting lineup.
People talk vaguely about his system but can never say what it is he's doing "screens and space"
They won a ring without playing the spurs, and facing injured teams (memphis, Houston, Cleveland)
He misses 42 games the next year and they go 39-3 without him, and end up 73-9 (34-6 with him)
He was coaching while they choked away a 3-1 lead and seems to escape any scrutiny.
They get KD and and cruise through the regular season.
He goes out for 10 playoff games and they go 10-0 without him.

Big Pop influence in his system. He's above average but I wouldnt say he's great. Having curry and klay space out the floor makes that system work even though a lot of pops prodigies have failed. That fukker out in Boston though Brad Stevens has goat potential.

He is a good coach. I'll always give him props for playing green at 5 when it never would have crossed most coaches mind. That said, any nba coach could have success with this group. Not all as much as Kerr perhaps, but still.....
