I like it and it was an important song for him and setting a precedent for where he could go with his music and overall troll shyt but I honestly think "Without Me" is the real classic song out of all of the ones where he ran with the corny/first single formula.

Not only is the beat actually kinda groovy/dancable but if you actually break down the concept of "Without Me" especially in relation to concept of The Eminem Show it's pretty fukking ill. It's also a much better listen a decade after the fact than My Name Is.

This is why the whole "I grew up" shyt doesn't compute with me because I was damn near grown when Em came out, my musical tastes were pretty much accounted for.

And like I said it tied in perfectly to the concept of the album with was a play on The Truman Show where the main character gains a level of self awareness about the media and how he's being used within it.
