Take Two killed Rockstar just like they've destroyed 2K Sports. It's all about microtransactions. As long as people are willing to pay to win instead of grinding, there's not reason to sink resources into improving a title or creating DLC for offline experiences.

It's expensive to make a quality R* game the budgets of LA Noire, Red Red Redemption, Max Payne 3, GTA 4, GTAV, Red Dead Redemption 2 were all CRAZY. I think we'll get one new IP for this gen, a new GTA and MAYBE a new Red Dead.
