How many different knots can you tie tho?
I only know half-windsor and four-in-hand.

As a man who wears a suit and tie everyday for work, tying ties is harder to learn then it looks. At least for me. I know how to tie one tie knot. I use another knot sometimes but I have to look at the video every time and it still will take several times. I’ve legit wondered if I was retarded before when trying to tie a tie off them videos![]()

So what were men doing before ties existed?
Typical retards on the coli.![]()
Damn.... I basically learned how to do tie properly in one go from a step by step video I saw many years ago I was in my mid or late teens. I guess you should stick to using a clip on or a bolo tie. To be honest I haven't been wearing ties for a minute nowadays you don't need to wear them at work and etc, though I usually wear bolo ties.
IF a man can't pull up a Youtube or Google tutorial and figure it out then he is worthless

I would start by reading up on many different knot types and trying to master the easy ones first. There are charts and infographics that rank them from easy to hard. Once you know how to tie one or two, then move on to the more complex ones if you want to get more fancy.
I personally like bow ties much more than regular ties though. I'll switch up to the skinny every blue moon too.
Tying ties is def in that list of skills you should know as a man, right up there with stuff like changing a tire and cooking.
all a man needs to know how to cook is three things. Eggs and toast. BBQ( if you don't know your way around a grill),
and one signature pasta dish, be it spaghetti, alfredo or whatever for those netflix and chill scenarios.
