Yes and no. Getting older is a fact of life. The only way you won't have the benefit of getting older is death. Also if you are lucky and can plan correctly and stay dedicated life gets easier in some ways as you age.

It’s a mixed bag. I have a 1 year old and that’s kinda got me fukked up mentally a bit. Just scared of leaving this earth before my son really is able to remember me. But the experience of growing older isn’t bad at all. Especially since I’ve been taking better care of myself and quit drinking.

One issue is the more older you get the more people you lose and your mortality is on constant alert. But I'm grateful to have made this far. I lost a close friend of mine 15 years ago. He never got married or had a family which he talked about when we were in high school together. Nothing is promised or guaranteed. I'm very happy to grow older. What I'm doing more now is trying to mentor the youth and give game about not wasting time. Your 20's are very important in setting up a foundation for your 30's and 40's.
