Seeing the new Supreme Court nominee had me thinking so I made the thread. My apologies if the topic has been beat to death:yeshrug:

I'm for the most part pro-life, because I know how abortion had been used as legal eugenics against the black community but I'm also empathetic of women's issues. If a woman has been raped, living in poverty and struggling to support herself or the child's father is absent or unwilling to support the child, I believe she should be able to make that choice:yeshrug: #GBR

I’m pro life for the most part because I don’t believing in taking a innocent babies life away and abortion has been use as an ethic cleansing tool against Blacks for the past 50 years but at the time if a women has become pregnant due to rape and incest then I fully understand why they would consider an abortion.

Im pro-choice. I dont care what people do with their body and i imagine most women that end up getting an abortion
do it because its the best choice for them at the moment.

I dont think you should bring a kid into this world if you cant support having one.

PS: You should add a poll.

grim but interesting. :ehh:

granted you obviously can’t get a fetus’ consent to bring them into this world

but I understand the viewpoint

a lot of ppl bring children into the world for selfish reasons

it tends to work out for the “best” for the most part

but many times it doesn’t as well and you end up with children who will grow into dysfunctional adults only to deal with a lifetime of pain

both.

There are arguments to be made for both cases.

I'm naturally for the birth of more black life, however if a woman is facing issues (possible loss of life during childbirth, rape, or even a Michael Corleone type of situation :picard:), then of course she should be allowed to abort that baby.

Then you’re pro-choice.

Pro-choice.

Every woman I know that had an abortion in the past, still went and had 2+ children in the future. So I don't buy into that "they're using abortions to slow the birth rate" nonsense.

There are many other factors that are causing black people to not have as many children as before.

I don't agree with abortion, but what she chooses to do with her body is her business. A side of me at times feels there's too many unfit parents and abortion might do society some good.
