Professionally, i'm doing very very well at 24, but still not completely happy with it.

At 22 nowhere near where I want to be financially or career wise. I guess I still have time but I already feel like im running out of time. @ OP im sorry about your marriage. I read in another thread all the stuff you and her have been through

Lol eh very well for me I should say. Accounting grad, passed cpa exams, on the way to getting licensed. Working as a Financial Analyst at a Fortune 500 company. Making a decent amount in LA, got my own place, driving a nice car. I like my job for the most part but certain aspects of the whole corporate thing are driving me crazy. In a weird place right now.

Passing the CPA is a good step, you got any other credentials you tryin to get in accounting? What time did you start in corporate America? I give you about 2-3 years of dealing with stupid ass bosses and LA traffic commute til you ready to commit dat

Not sure yet, working on getting officially licensed as a CPA, then we'll see. I did about 1.5 years in public accounting right out of school and trust me I was about ready to commit that . Got out of there, been at the new job for 6 months. It's cool, but i am working under a director that is ridiculous

That high school principal really f*cked me over. (both at the time and mentally thinking i can't do sh!t cuz I'll get stopped somehow.) I'm over it now but i'm never gonna get my early-mid 20's back

fukk no. But I've only been going up.

Credit's bad but it isn't something I can't repair and I've already been taking steps to work on that. When you had a job that paid nearly double your current job, its hard to change your lifestyle spending-wise when you're let go without notice. That what happened to me three years ago. I just need to finish school already cause I do see myself having a steady 9-5 with nights, weekends and holidays off. One class till I have an A.A. and a year and a half till I get my Bachelor's. Being 31 and in the CA school system as a Business major are my obstacles. I gotta get motivated to put up a good fight just to get the classes I need. I'm tired of school but I know I need to finish to have a better life.

Don't get me started on my love life or lack of. Been there, done that with all of the bullshyt games and hoops to jump through when it comes to dating now. Again, I'm 31. I rather work on my professional career than waste time chasing women. I envy and sometimes even hate on dudes who found someone and happy in a relationship cause I don't know what the fukk that feels like Just dealt with a bad hand

But I have my own apt, ride that's paid for (though I want another whip) and I'm far from unlike a lot of my h.s. classmates. So at least I got my health and my looks

I'm definitely not where I want or need to be financially, credit card and student loan debt is killing a nikka ,
